We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to participate in a willow spilling session, a vital technique for river restoration. This hands-on experience will contribute to the health and biodiversity of the White Burn at Blaeberry Wood, East Whitburn.

What is Willow Spilling?

Willow spilling involves planting willow cuttings along riverbanks to stabilise the soil, prevent erosion, and create valuable habitat for wildlife. It’s a fantastic way to learn practical conservation skills and make a real difference to your local environment.
