At Corra Foundation, we believe in the power of collaboration to create lasting positive change. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new funding initiative: “The Way Forward for Families” Partnership.

This significant funding opportunity aims to strengthen support for children, young people, and families across Scotland who are affected by the challenges of drugs and alcohol. We recognise the complex and interconnected nature of these issues and believe that a joined-up approach is essential for effective and sustainable solutions.

What does this partnership offer?

Through the “The Way Forward for Families” Partnership, we are offering grants of up to £250,000 over three years to ambitious and impactful partnership projects. We are looking to support initiatives that foster collaboration and leverage the unique strengths of different sectors.

Who can apply?

This funding is specifically designed for partnerships led by experienced voluntary organisations working hand-in-hand with statutory agencies. We believe that combining the expertise and reach of both sectors will lead to more comprehensive and effective support systems for families in need.

Key Criteria:

  • The partnership must be led by an experienced voluntary organisation.
  • The project must demonstrate strong collaboration with statutory agencies.
  • The focus must be on supporting children, young people, and families affected by drugs and alcohol.
  • A minimum of 50% match funding is required for the project. This highlights the importance of shared investment and commitment to the initiative.

Why a partnership approach?

We know that addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by families affected by drugs and alcohol requires a coordinated effort. By encouraging partnerships between voluntary organisations and statutory agencies, we aim to:

  • Enhance service delivery: Combining the specialist knowledge and community links of voluntary organisations with the resources and infrastructure of statutory bodies.
  • Improve outcomes for families: Creating more holistic and integrated support systems that address a wider range of needs.
  • Foster innovation: Encouraging the development of creative and effective solutions through shared learning and expertise.
  • Build sustainability: Laying the groundwork for long-term impact through collaborative working practices.
