The Matthew Good Foundation has announced the opening of a fresh round of its Grants for Good Fund, as of 26th March 2025.
This initiative seeks to empower small charities, not-for-profit groups, and social entrepreneurs who are dedicated to positively impacting individuals, local communities, and the environment. A total of £15,000 will be distributed amongst five shortlisted projects every three months, with John Good Group employees casting their votes to determine the allocation.
The project receiving the most votes will be awarded £5,000, the runner-up £3,500, the third-place project £2,500, and the fourth and fifth-place projects £2,000 each. The Foundation encourages applications from both established projects and those with innovative ideas in need of start-up funding.
Eligibility requires applicants to have had an annual income of less than £50,000 in the preceding 12 months.
The deadline for applications in this round is Sunday, 15th June 2025.
