This session is essential for PVG Signatories and organisations that work with children, young people, and protected adults in Scotland. Duncan Steele from Volunteer Scotland will provide a clear overview of the key changes under the Disclosure Act and what they mean for your organisation.
Key topics include:
- The introduction of regulated roles (replacing ‘regulated work’)
- The new legal requirement for PVG scheme membership
- 3-month grace period for existing staff (1st April – 30th June)
- Simpler disclosure products and improved rights for individuals
- Disclosure Scotland’s new powers to impose conditions
