Linlithgow Gears Up for Scotland’s Inaugural Festival of Movement

Linlithgow is set to host a groundbreaking event, Scotland’s first-ever Festival of Movement, on Saturday, March 29th. Organised by Linlithgow Community Development Trust’s active travel programme, Move For Good (@moveforgood_), the festival promises a day filled with engaging activities centered around movement and sustainable travel.

The Festival of Movement aims to inspire and educate attendees on the benefits of active and eco-friendly transportation, showcasing how everyday journeys can contribute to a healthier lifestyle and a more sustainable environment. The event will feature a diverse programme, including:

  • Creative Workshops: Hands-on sessions exploring innovative approaches to movement.
  • Informative Talks: Presentations from experts on sustainable travel and its impact.
  • Activity Taster Sessions: Opportunities to try various forms of physical activity.
